The wait is over. After months of planning, tasting and collaborating, we are thrilled to invite you to our First Ever Taster Festival. This free family friendly event will bring together our favourite returning suppliers, exciting new faces and a delicious selection of Asian street food, snacks and drinks.

From Small Beginnings to a Festival
The Taster Festival is the natural next step in a journey that started with our first taster event in August 2024. Back then, we simply wanted to give our customers a fun way to try something new, and it was an instant hit.
Encouraged by your feedback, we ran our second taster event in February 2025 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It was amazing to see a big crowd coming to attend as well as enjoy the vibrant lion dance performance. Families explored new snacks together, food lovers discovered flavours they had never tried before, and our shop buzzed with excitement, with customers coming in to purchase the new products they had tried
Alongside these main events, our Mini Taster Weekends became a new regular treat. These smaller themed tasters brought a variety of foods into the spotlight, from authentic Asian street snacks to seasonal goodies. Many of you came back again to see what was next.
Every one of these events has been a building block, and we have been quietly planning something bigger from the very start. The Taster Festival is the result, and we could not be happier to bring it to life. We truly appreciate you coming along to support our shop, and we hope to see you all again.
What to Expect
The Taster Festival is about celebrating food, drink and the people who make them. We have invited some of our trusted suppliers you may recognise from previous taster days and mini tasters as well as some exciting new faces making their festival debut.

A Wide Range of Flavours to Try
Sample freshly cooked and prepared snacks, street food and drinks. Each stall will offer something different from sizzling savoury bites to sweet treats so there is always something new to taste.
Meet the Makers
Chat with our suppliers, learn their stories and find out how their products are made. Many of them are small businesses with a real passion for their craft. They will be happy to share tips you can try at home to recreate their flavours in your own kitchen.
Asian Street Food, Snacks and Drinks
Expect authentic and exciting flavours from across East and Southeast Asia. Whether you prefer savoury skewers, crispy dumplings, refreshing iced teas or sweet bites there will be something to suit every taste.
Family Fun
The Taster Festival is perfect for a family day out. It is a chance to encourage the kids to try something new and enjoy tasting together. The lively friendly atmosphere makes it a great way to spend a Saturday.
Shopping and Special Offers
While you are enjoying the tastings, do not forget to browse! Our main Oriental Shop will be open as usual, stocked with our wide range of Asian foods, snacks and drinks.
To help keep things moving and avoid long queues inside, we will also have an outdoor pop-up shop. This is perfect if you want to grab something quickly on the go.
As an extra treat, there will be special offers and promotions on the products being sampled at the event. If you find something you love during a tasting, you will be able to take it home for less.

We will be taking photos and videos throughout the day to capture the atmosphere, the food and the fun. We would love for you to do the same.

- Use alternative parking if our main car park is full. There is parking available around the industrial estate.
